There is nothing like the feeling of your dog enjoying some homemade treats. You know they are healthy for them and can actually pronounce what ingredients are in the treats! Not only are these great for Fall but they make your place smell amazing while they’re baking. Bake them for your dog or make them as holiday gifts for furry friends!
You’ll need pumpkin puree (I use Libby’s), peanut butter, flour, parchment paper and roller if you are using cookie cutters. We used a bone shaped cutter but I do regret not using our pumpkin cutter as well.
First, set your oven to 350 degrees to preheat while you get everything ready. In a bowl, whisk the pumpkin puree, eggs, and peanut butter. Slowly add the flour while you mix, at this point you’ll want to use a large spoon as it will begin to form a dough.
Knead the dough a piece of parchment paper with scattered flour on top. Roll out the dough, drench the cookie cutter in flour, begin to cut out the ‘cookies.’
Put the sheet of cookies in the oven for 20 min, flip them all over then bake an additional 20 min. When you take them out, let them cool for about an hour. Take a food brush or paper towel and lightly brush the remaining flour off.
You’re doggo is now ready to enjoy!
